About Us

GOA - A place where you can do everything or nothing at all ..The origin of Goa is steeped in unfathomable antiquity. Legend had it that Lord Parasurama, an incarnation of God Vishnu, armed with his bow shot an arrow from the Sayhadri Hills into the sea commanding the waters to recede to the point where the missile fell. Goa thus emerged as virgin land, endowed with all the gifts of nature. Miles of sunbathed golden beaches, springs, waterfalls, rivers, lakes and natural resources in the interiors.

Goa is linked with all the major cities of India by air and land. Has also become a major domestic and international tourist destination due to its scenic beauty and historical background. Goa's history dates back to four and half centuries when Vasco da Gama landed at Calicut all the way from Portugal. This route was later exploited by the Dutch, the British and the Portuguese. In 1510 Afonso de Albuquerque conquered Goa and paved the way for the missionaries who left behind their legacy by the way of beautiful churches at Old Goa and full of architectural innovations. The two major communities - Christians and Hindus have been living in Goa in perfect harmony, celebrating together the major festivals like Chritmas, Easter, Carnival. Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali and Shigmo.
