About Tirunelveli

Tirunelveli is a Municipal Corporation, sixth largest city in Tamil Nadu (after Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichy and Salem) in southern India and the district headquarter of Tirunelveli district. The city is considered to be one of the oldest in the Indian subcontinent, around 3,000 years old located on the west bank of the perennial Thamirabarani River.
